Blake Griffin Proved He is Good

Blake Griffin was playing great (according to ESPN report) in his first "pre-season" game.

Have seen a video clip recorded right after his game, I feel like he does not have the All-Star look, yet (only personal opinion).

I mean, Boozer is good (sort of), but he does not have the All-Star look and hence his limited apperance in All-Star game.

Blake Griffin has the potential to be better than Boozer. We will see.

By the way, rumour said that Clippers is also interested in AI. Well, that does not seem to be a good idea. Baron Davis, AI, Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, Al Thorton (etc...) all need ball touches.

People said that Lakers having two players with Big Ego - Kobe, Ron Artest, may actually hurt the team. But if AI does join Clippers, this team may have bigger Ego. Will be fun to watch those games in Staples Center.

Inexperienced Magic is being Smashed

The Finals Game 1,

- Not surprisingly, inexperienced Magic is being Smashed. They will get better.

- Jameer Nelson is in action, and doing well.

- Kobe, as he said, wants the Champ so badly.

Big Baby Stunned Magic's Crowd

Others,

- "Big Baby" Glen Davis hit two clutch shots. He deserves to be happy for a day. However, we should not overlook the truly unselfishness by Paul Pierce. He is the Player who trusts his teammate. My personal opinion is that for Kobe / LBJ, they will shoot a three already.

All Set - Lakers vs Nuggets Final?

Others,

- Antoine's foul on Anthony was quite obvious, and the non-call has caused Mavericks the game. and Nuggets has dramatically improved the series to 3-0, but not 2-1.

- Yao will miss the whole playoff. Probably he is the only player that Lakers can't handle much (unless he is in foul trouble).

- Therefore, I think the Western Final is pretty much set - Lakers vs Nuggets.

- This picture from Lakers-Rockets Game 2 is quite...hilarious.

D Will is no Joke, yet Jazz Lost

Jazz Game,

- D Will did it all - 35pts, 4 rebs, 9 asts, 4 stls, 2 blks. I just hope he won't get too tired. Potentially we have four games to win in this series!!! Go Jazz!!!

- Kobe has a ridiculous shot in front of Brewer at the end of Q3. Brewer did good defense in that play, but somehow Kobe really made that one.

- Kobe said in post-game interview, "He (D Will) is an incredible basketball player". Rightfully so.

Shaq? MVP?

All-Star Game,

- Nate Robinson did a good job in the Dunk Contest. I guess Dwight Howard picked the wrong dunk for the last attempt, and also he executed it in a below-par standard.

- Shaq? MVP? He is very entertaining throughout the game, but I don't think he should be the co-MVP. And the bigger reason I feel so is that I think CP3 was doing a better job, though I don't like him that much (for obvious reason).

Kobe and Wade, Head-on-Head

Others,

Kobe + Wade = a very enjoyable game to the audience, and perhaps even more enjoyable to two of the most competitive SGs in the league.

I enjoy watching Wade much more than LBJ. Wade looks like playing real basketball while LBJ is like driving his gifted physical engine to the rim.

Lakers tells the world they are still the contender

Every Jazz & NBA fans, this season NBA TV provides high-quality videos for us to recap different games, very enjoyable. Check that out!

Some notes on two of the today games.

Trail Blazers @ Lakers

Lakers easily crushes Trail Blazers today. If you have watched the recap, you could see Kobe is still Kobe, a scoring machine. Up to this moment I think Lakers is the biggest enemy of Jazz in this season. Their bench is as deep as us. And watch out Ariza, he could surprise you this season. Versatile Odom as sixth man, déjà vu….

Oden, another injury. No matter how talented and how ready he is (as the press said), he won’t be a star if he is so easily injured.

As predicted, Rudy Fernandez, first NBA game, very solid performance, keep it up (not vs Jazz though).

Cavaliers @ Celtics

Obviously Mo Will (ex-Jazz) has shared some of the scoring burden from LBJ. But I don’t think they could be the Eastern Champion this year. Firstly, want to declare that am not a fans of LBJ simply because there is no fun to watch a player to score purely by his physical strength. And their roster is still…unpromising. Gibson is an over-rated player, Ben Wallace is not in his best times, Delonte West is still a question mark.

Anyway, can’t wait for our home opener!
