Will Rose give some troubles to the King?

Will Rose give some troubles to the King? It's a premature question since Bulls have not locked down the No. 8 seed yet. But I do look forward to the Cavaliers-Bulls Series.

We always had an edge over Suns so I do believe we could beat them in the final regular season game and clinch No. 3 seed. I foresee we could walk into Western Conference Semi-Final, easily.

I Went Straight to Scoreboard

I went straight to ESPN Scoreboard, and saw Thunder scored 139. I was thinking "another meltdown? WTF...". Scrolling a bit downwards and I saw the 140 by Jazz. What an amazing game!

Career night by D Will, wonderful. And we wouldn't enjoy less about the monster Dunk by Boozer. The No.1 Play of today games!

Granger's Career Best Took Down Jazz

We can't say Granger is having a splendid season this year. He chose to score his career-high 44pts to us, and hurt our chance in 2nd seed...

Others,

- LBJ said, "If I really wanted to be the scoring champion every single year -- every single year -- I could really do it. But it doesn't matter." I can't agree more, but you don't have to say it loud...

47-25 X 3

We are climbing up the ladder.

72 games are done, and we are having the same record as Nuggets and Mavericks.

Let's do it and clinch the 2nd seed!

Jazz, Winning like a Breeze

10 regular season games left. Jazz is currently winning quite some games with style. Easy Win, resting some players, or injured players.

With this form we could go for No.2 / 3 which would make our playoff life much easier. Let's hope this post does not jinx it.

Josh Smith had a sick putback-buzzer beater tonight.

All-Star Weekend

- I am impressed by the Reverse Dunk by Nate Robinson, and now he is the three-time Dunk Contest Champion.

- D Will got a nice dunk which vowed the crowd in the first half. Too bad that he did not make the team win at the end of the game. But it's all good as the debut in All-Star game.

- Apparently Dwight Howard is upset by Shaq's comments after Cavs win over Magic - "You tell me who the real Superman is." I think Dwight should be more motivated instead of telling the press that "It didn't sit well with me personally."

Jazz Solidifed No.3 Spot!

Winning Melo- & Mr. Big Shot-less Nuggets? I will take that! It's not like we have not lost games without our key players :P

After this win, we "solidified" our No.3 spot, and have a "good look" at No.2 now! Go Jazz!

AK is playing really well and getting more minutes (40 mins today). It's quite a thing because remember the days he was kept under 30 mins for a looooong time?

Sixth Win in a Row!

Sixth Win in a Row!

Just saw the highlights. I very much enjoy the play of Millsap's block, AK held the ball, passed to D Will and slowly ran to the front court and ambushed the whole Mavericks defense with a in-your-face dunk on Dirk.

No.4 in West

After beating Suns, we are No. 4 in West, for now. Fantastic achievement.

We should be happy because we get the win from behind (at one point we trailed by 17 pts).

AK had 25 pts, led Jazz scoreboard. He recently took all the minutes from CJ.

Boozer, 21 pts, 20 rebs. wow.

Hello Jazz Fans!

Hey Jazz Fans, how's things going? It has certainly been a while...

During my "hibernation", Utah Jazz is doing okay.....-ish.

We saw our Maynor gone, but on the other hand we certainly enjoyed the Winning Shot of Sudianta Gaines, though we are not sure whether he will return after the 2nd 10-day contract.

Today Easy Win over Nets made our record 25-18, which made us sitting at No.6 in West. I think our goal is simple - to win the Home Court in First Round. Go Jazz.

Jazz Beat Spurs! X 2

Jazz Beat the Spurs, more importantly, at San Antonio. We never won there since 1999.

eh...actually I think it is more appropriate to say we beat the curse because beating a short-handed Spurs (without Parker and Ginobili) does not mean much.

Nonetheless, wtih this win, we are back to .500!

Maynor cooled off a bit but D Will and AK continue to have a nice game. Boozer is limited by TD but good to see Brewer finally showed up!

D Will is Back, Jazz Got a Win

D Will is back, and we have a good win.

Statistics-wise, almost everyone is doing a okay / good job! Better FT % could make us even more invincible. Look forward to the better performance of Brewer. He is not as "shiny" as last season, perhaps because more players contribute in the team.

Needless to say, Eric Maynor is still doing a good job.

Others,

Stephen Jackson played 45 mins in his debut with Bobcats. I said many times I kind of like Bobcats in last season, and even liked it more now. Stephen Jackson + Gerald Wallace + Boris Diaw, which is quite a combination.

Dirk and Jennings continues their hot trend lately in today game.

A Loss Not Like a Loss

While I was giving a thumbs up to Wes Matthews yesterday (and he also played well today), Eric Maynor may have already earned his All-Star Rookie Team spot today. His fearless floater in front of LBJ at the end of the game is so cool! He is a heck of the player, can create his opportunities easily after a screen. His every little floater or bank shot counts!

LBJ whispered to Maynor after the game. I guess this really tells how good he is playing.

Oh…yeah…by the way, we do have a problem now. Will Ronnie Price lose his place to Eric Maynor again, and retreat to No. 3 PG? I feel sorry for Ronnie but looks like Eric has earned his place today.

Brewer definitely can’t play PG. He can’t create anything other than bringing the ball to the front court. And, he disappeared whole night. He got to step up.

And oh yeah, we lost, but did not feel like a loss.

Others,

- Talking about rookie...Brandon Jennings, 55 pts....Blake Griffin has some contest in the ROY Award.

- Hawks is on a good form, 8-2 now after beating Celtics and Hornets. Well, David West can't really play well without CP3.

A Win at Philly, without D Will

We got an Away win without D Will. Not bad indeed.

Millsap finally showed up and Wes Matthews indeed played very well.

32 asts in 42 baskets, we shared the ball well.

We don't know how good CJ Miles would be when he comes back, but at the moment Wes Matthew seems playing better than last year CJ.

And all the best to D Will's family! and we look forward to your return.

Jazz Lost to KM-less Kings, at Home

Well, don't really have much to write considering that we lost to Kevin-Martin-less Kings, at Home.

And 2-4 is an ugly start of the season.

06 November, 2009

Jazz Beat Spurs!

As Jazz fans, we don't often see the title. But we did it today!

Boozer had a nice game, and you need to give compliments to his hustle (5 off rebs + 2 stls!). Wes Matthews played some quality minutes there and looks like he has gained some trust from Coach Sloan already! (you don't see a rookie playing 25 mins for Jazz that often!).

And D Will, almost a Triple Double.

Great Win!

04 November, 2009

Oh Dirk!

Every Jazz fans were looking at the boxscore in the middle of Q4 and thought we would get a win in Dallas.

Oh Dirk! You just single-handedly destroyed us. I don't want to blame Okur defense because I don't think anyone in the league could possibly stop a red-hot Dirk. He is tall, he can shoot. What can you say?

A 1-3 start, what a good way to lower my expectation this season.

Others,

- Sun defeated Heat even without Barbosa. Nash is in a very good form now.
- Looks like Bucks has picked a fantastic rookie - Brandon Jennings

03 November, 2009

Rockets In My Face!

Jazz had a 4th Quarter meltdown, and lost to Rockets. Boozer and Millsap performed pretty ugly (statistically).

Rockets proved me wrong. And after four games, I have to admit that Aaron Brooks is indeed a talent and their rookie Budinger did surprise a lot of people.

Others,

- Kevin Martin 48 pts, which is awesome. However,he has the same symptom as Wade - he took too many shots. Perhaps he meant to exploit the matchup with O.J. Mayo, but still.

Millsap's Spark Led Jazz to Win

Millsap did a fantastic job for giving us the spark in Q4. Boozer stats "flirted" with Triple-Double. They can co-exist.

Oh, by the way, D Will was still that awesome.

Others,

- CP3 needs to score 31 points for a win over Kings. It doesn't bode well for Hornets.

- Quote of the day - "I'll wait for you guys to decide when I'm over the hill" - Steve Nash, after his 18-pt, 20-ast performance.

Jazz Lost; D Will and Melo Will Shine this Season

Jazz lost, and Millsap was posterized by Melo. That's all okay. But who can deny that D Will is actually the best PG in the league right now? If Boozer did a little bit better today (no hate, man), we should have won. And Melo is a heck of a player. Everyone should watch out, he will shine this season (just like D Will).

Others,

- Magic has a completly new and interesting squad.

- 0-2 for Cavs. I have to be honest, I am not a fan of LBJ’s ego

"Early in my career, I'd get very upset when you lose two or three games, you'd just feel like you can't turn it around. But I'm at a point in my career now where I know that you can lose two but, at the same time, you don't look too far into it. You learn from the mistakes and you just try to get better."

- I think Wade is taking too many shots. He can, no doubt about it. But at certain point he should (and I believe he would learn that) use his ability to create more easy opportunities for his teammates.

- I don’t really see Hornets as a playoff team this year. Spurs “finished” them in two quarters.

- Amare Stoudamire only took 6 shots in the game. This comes to my surprise. Probably because Clipper 4/5 positions are pretty strong. And think about it, when Griffin comes out + Kaman and Camby. And I still believe Clippers is a dangerous team.
