Final Set - Magic vs Lakers

Magic-Cavaliers Game 6,

- Dwight dominates, probably one of the most important games of his life.

Others,

- Lakers is on the other side smiling. They have Home Court Advantage.

- I think Lakers would have an edge over Magic. They have an experienced coach, they have experienced players, and perhaps more importantly they have enough bodies to put on Dwight Howard.

Lakers in Final

Lakers in Final...and I am waiting for you, Magic!

Magic Won, it's now 3-1

Magic-Cavaliers Game 4,

- Now you know the difference between an easy catch (Game 2) and a difficult catch (Game 4) from an inbound in the last possession, right?

Nuggets Took One, Now 2-2

Nuggets-Lakers Game 4,

- Nuggets evened the series at Home. J.R. Smith is enjoying it, you can tell from below.

Mo Will is Out-Toughed?

Magic-Cavaliers Game 3,

- I do think that Mo Will is out-toughed in his very first tough playoff series as a Cavalier. He is being pushed, pounced around. He needs to overcome this toughness, if not, Good Luck to you, Cavaliers.

Ariza's Steal is Over-Rated, BUT...

Nuggets-Lakers Game 3,

- Ariza's Steal is Over-Rated. The inbound pass from Kenyon Martin to Melo is sub-par. The steal is not a difficult one. BUT his two three-pointers does bring Lakers back to the game, and of course Kobe sealed it.

LBJ Sealed the Win

Magic-Cavaliers Game 2,

- I think once again I need to say LBJ is the best player in the league right now purely because of his unmatched physical strength + quickness. His exceptional edge in his body really matters more than any kind of skills that Kobe, Wade, etc.. have. But I don't think he is the "role model" for talking to the press. Some extracts from him,

"That guy (Michael Jordon) is not in the league any more," James said of Jordan. "The other 23 is on the good side now."

"Wow. I seen it before, Hedo has hit big shot after big shot in the regular season and I had to match him shot for shot," James said. "Rashard Lewis hit the game-winner in Game 1 and I matched it in Game 2.

- To be honest, I don't think that the buzzer beater is particularly surprising nor a difficult shot. (vs the potential winning shot by Hedo). The defense plan drawn out by Coach Van Gundy has its flaws - you can't let your opponents fire a three in this situation. And you can't let LBJ to catch the ball with ease. And you know, this shot will be exaggerated by the press by about, um...perhaps 5 times.

- By the way, Rashard Lewis is really in a good shooting rhythm now. His catch and shoot is so smooth. If the morale is not destroyed by the buzzer beater, I think Magic does have a shot (vs my earlier comment that the high possibility of Cav's 4-1).

The Melo Man

Nuggets-Lakers,

- Got to be honest with you. I am surprised how good Melo is playing in the Playoff. I remembered clearly how inefficient he was during the Olympics. He was alright in the regular season but he brought himself into another level in playoffs.

Finals Predictions

Eastern Final - Magic vs Cavaliers

I don't believe Cavaliers could sweep Magic. But no one should be surprised if Cavs took it with 5 games.

Western Final - Nuggets vs Lakers

Tough series expected. It would take 6 games or more, which means either team could win 2, at least.

D Will not in NBA 2nd / 3rd Team

- D Will not in NBA 2nd / 3rd Team. Perhaps not so unexpected, but it is just ridiculous. He just deserves to be there.

Big Baby Stunned Magic's Crowd

Others,

- "Big Baby" Glen Davis hit two clutch shots. He deserves to be happy for a day. However, we should not overlook the truly unselfishness by Paul Pierce. He is the Player who trusts his teammate. My personal opinion is that for Kobe / LBJ, they will shoot a three already.

All Set - Lakers vs Nuggets Final?

Others,

- Antoine's foul on Anthony was quite obvious, and the non-call has caused Mavericks the game. and Nuggets has dramatically improved the series to 3-0, but not 2-1.

- Yao will miss the whole playoff. Probably he is the only player that Lakers can't handle much (unless he is in foul trouble).

- Therefore, I think the Western Final is pretty much set - Lakers vs Nuggets.

- This picture from Lakers-Rockets Game 2 is quite...hilarious.

The Story of a Pair of 3-3 Series

Others,

The 3-3 in Celtics-Bulls series vs the Hawks-Heat series can't be more different.

In Celtics-Bulls series, all games are so close (obviously an understatement) while the six games of the latter were ended with double-digit difference.

The above seems to suggest Hawks and Heat are more "unstable" team when compared with Celtics and Bulls, which can play almost at the same level in each single game, or the latter pair are more willing and capable to fight from behind. Both Celtics and Bulls have made some great runs in the games.

Six Games; Four Went to OT; Seven OT Periods

Others,

- Everyone takes turn to be the Hero in Game 6. I start to watch the game since the middle of Q4, I guess I have captured the most exciting moments from there till the end of 3OT.

- After 6 games, four went to OT, and combined with a total of 7 OT periods. Who should be smiling? The whole Magic team. Whichever team win would be half-exhausted when facing Magic.

- For Game 7, I got a strange feeling that Celtics will repeat the story last year, i.e. it would be a blowout win for them at Home. And I will now use one of the most commonly used expression in NBA - "Never underestimate the Heart of a Champion".

- Howard is suspened in Game 6, and he keeps himself busy by twittering. I am not sure how he feels after he saw the words from Andre Miller - "They're actually better without Dwight Howard, one of their players told me that they were better without Dwight Howard. They said the ball moves quicker. They're not standing around a lot."

He is trying to messing up with Howard's head (even after the elimination?) or really someone in Magic thinks that they are a better team without Howard? I lean on the latter which means someone in Magic really thinks so. That's...interesting.

- Ron Artest shows some humour while he was being asked about rushing in the stand to save the ball in the final minutes. - "Well...em...I've been in a stand before." Go this link for the laughters -
